Job Description

The Visual Effects Rendering Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient rendering of high-quality visual effects and lighting shots across multiple Digital Content Creation (DCC) applications, including Maya, Blender, Houdini, and 3ds Max.

This position requires effective collaboration with cross-department teams to maintain rendering performance, streamline processes, and resolve technical challenges. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Autodesk Maya, Blender, Houdini, and 3ds Max, as well as proficiency in render engines like Arnold, V-Ray, Redshift, RenderMan, Cycles, and Karma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, optimize, and troubleshoot the rendering workflow across multiple DCC applications.
  • Compile issue shots based on render engine settings for performance and user support.
  • Coordinate effectively with client teams to ensure renders meet production quality and deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Software Expertise:

  • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Maya, Blender, Houdini, and 3ds Max.
  • Proficiency in render engines like Arnold, V-Ray, Redshift, RenderMan, Cycles, and Karma.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of rendering pipelines, shading, lighting, and AOV/pass setup.
  • Experience with render farm management.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting and familiarity with MEL, MAXScript, HScript for tool development.
