Memory Layout Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Memory Layout Specialist to join our team. As a Memory Layout Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing memory layouts for custom memories such as SRAM and Register Files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with circuit designers to translate schematics into optimized layouts.
  • Develop a good understanding of floor-planning, placement, matching, routing, parasitics, and layout constraints.
  • Debug physical verification checks (DRC, LVS, ERC) and reliability checks (EM, IR).
  • Stay up-to-date with advanced process nodes, including 5nm and below.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in memory layout design.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as SKILL, Python, or TCL.
  • Proficiency in custom-based memories or compiler-based memories.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to high-performance and/or low-power memory layout optimization techniques.
