Job Summary

Monitoring Specialists play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of complex systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize advanced monitoring tools to oversee system performance, leveraging platforms such as New Relic and Dynatrace to identify potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure and application monitoring scripts across diverse environments, guaranteeing continuous uptime and optimal resource utilization.
  • Employ strong command-line skills in Unix/Linux and Windows systems for troubleshooting and data analysis, driving informed decision-making and problem resolution.
  • Query and analyze data using SQL or NRQL, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently, fostering a culture of cooperation and mutual support.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in monitoring tools and infrastructure monitoring, with a proven track record of success.
  • Hands-on expertise in infrastructure and application monitoring across diverse environments, coupled with a deep understanding of system performance optimization.
  • Strong command-line skills in both Unix/Linux and Windows systems, enabling effective troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL or NRQL for querying and data analysis, allowing for accurate and timely insights.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Terraform, and Jenkins is highly desirable, as is exposure to Oracle Cloud or AWS.
