Backend Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in MongoDB and Spring Boot API development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs and backend services that support our cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot framework.
  • MongoDB Database Management: Design and manage MongoDB databases ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • API Gateway Management: Work with OSS 2 and Apigee platforms to build and manage API gateways and integrations.
  • Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services for performance and reliability.
  • Security Best Practices: Ensure security best practices in API development and data management.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • MongoDB Expertise: Strong experience with MongoDB database design and management.
  • Spring Boot Development: Proficient in developing APIs using Spring Boot.
  • OSS 2 Platform: Hands-on experience with OSS 2 platform.
  • Apigee API Management: Experience working with Apigee API management platform.
  • AWS Services: Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployment.
  • RESTful API Design: Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Security Knowledge: Knowledge of security standards and best practices in API development.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Agile Environment: Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.
