Job Overview:

The Mechanical Equipment Maintenance Specialist role is a vital position that requires individuals with strong mechanical skills and knowledge of troubleshooting, assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of complex systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze data to understand system performance and develop strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair history and equipment performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical certification or degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of PLC & HMI programming for troubleshooting (TIA Portal/Simatic Manager).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, such as diagrams and operation manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of data traceability systems with RFID and CMES.
