Bicycle Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, inspect, and test new bicycles before display or delivery.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on customer bicycles (gear tuning, brake adjustments, wheel truing, etc.).
• Diagnose mechanical issues and provide accurate repair estimates.
• Ensure timely and quality completion of service work orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop/service area.
• Assist customers with product-related questions or minor on-spot fixes.
• Maintain service records and ensure inventory of spare parts/tools.
• Stay updated on new models, technologies, and tools.
• Adhere to safety and company guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bicycle technician or mechanical repair technician.
• Knowledge of different types of bicycles and their components.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and work on bicycles of various sizes.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and store peak hours.
• Certification in bicycle mechanics (preferred but not mandatory).
• Giant Experience will be preferred
