We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for leading multiple design projects from concept through to execution.
Your core responsibilities will include delivering and/or leading complex design projects, working with teams to develop design briefs & strategies, and providing design observations and solutions. You will also work with the graphic design team to produce artworks such as infographics, maps, icons, and conduct site analyses to understand environmental and user behavior factors.
You will be responsible for the status and realization of your design projects, including organizing and managing your colleagues and undertaking regular design/project reviews to meet budget and programme requirements.
You will report to the senior management and Directors on the status of your projects to assess their impact upon the overall company resourcing and finances.
About This RoleThis is a leadership role that requires excellent design portfolio, good communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in visual communication design & strategy, solid understanding of user-centered design and user experience principles, and minimum 6 years professional experience in communication design, information design, sign design, wayfinding design, print/digital design, branding & identity design.
The candidate should have experience in large scale projects such as townships, airports, healthcare, mixed use & commercial developments, and excellent design portfolio. Good communication and presentation skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and/or lead multiple, often complex, design projects from concept through to execution, whilst adhering to design briefs, timelines, and budgets.
- Work with and manage teams internally and externally to develop design briefs & strategies.
- Working with the team to develop graphic communication strategies for Brand Identity & Extension, Information Design, Typography, Cultural Identity & Context, and Ongoing and upcoming User Experience and User Interface (UI/UX) Projects.
- Provide design observations and solutions for the above mentioned.
- Work with the graphic design team to produce artworks such as Infographics, Maps, Icons.
- Conduct site analyses to understand environmental and user behavior factors.
- Design prototypes, both physical and digital, and be willing to explore graphic materials and processes.
- Be responsible for the status and realization of your design projects including organizing and managing your colleagues and undertaking regular design/project reviews, to meet budget and programme requirements, as well as ensure full compliance with the project requirements and office standards.
- Comply with all relevant office standards and industry professional development attributes, as available, and propose improvements as appropriate.
- Regularly report to the senior management and Directors on the status of your projects to assess their impact upon the overall company resourcing and finances.
Skill(s) required: Adobe creative suite which includes Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe in-Design, User Interface (UI) Development and Wireframing, Adobe Premiere, Figma.
Skill(s) Good to have: Rhino/grasshopper, CAD, SignAgent.
