Job Overview:

This role entails working as a z/OS system specialist. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in z/OS installation and configuration, as well as a strong understanding of hardware components and security software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and configure z/OS system software to ensure efficient workload management using WLM.
  • Manage hardware components and security software related to z/OS systems to minimize risks and optimize performance.
  • Develop and maintain Assembler code and user exits to streamline system operations.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely solutions to ensure business continuity.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with z/OS installation and configuration.
  • Strong experience with HCD, z15/z16 hardware configurations, and security software to ensure robust system infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in TSO/ISPF, REXX, and Parallel SYSPLEX to enhance system productivity.
  • Experience with SMPE for patch management and system maintenance to ensure seamless system updates.
