Job Title:

Global Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist

Almighty Consultants is seeking a skilled Global Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will work closely with a global team of consultants, Fortune 100 clients to understand their vision and devise inorganic and growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on front-end upstream strategy and M&A projects for global clients across industries such as Automotive, TMT, Industrials, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Private Equity.
  • Analyse complex qualitative and quantitative data, present interpretations to the project team, and provide recommendations to global clientele.
  • Devise corporate/business unit, M&A, and market entry strategies, conduct commercial due diligence, business wargaming, and screen M&A targets.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and clients by playing an active role in firm building initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Candidate should have a keen interest in building a career in Strategy and M&A consulting.
  • Excellent analytical & presentation skills (Fluent in PowerPoint and Excel) with ability to conduct thorough market research on S&P CapIQ, IBISWorld, Merger Markets, Bloomberg, and other platforms.
  • Ability to break down and solve ambiguous problems through quantitative thinking and analysis.
  • Enterprising and collaborative professional with ability to work in a team.
  • Prior work experience of 1-2 years in strategy houses/Big 4/boutique consulting/corporate strategy/corporate development background is preferred.

  • Sound understanding of business strategy, finance, and cross-industry exposure.
  • Ability to interact with confidence and handle CEOs/CXOs/client executives independently.
  • Exemplary Communication (verbal and written) & Presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset, hustler, fast learner & go-getter.
