Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Professional

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing of software products
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues using defect tracking tools
  • Develop testing documents such as Standard Test Documents (STD), Standard Test Reports (STR), Software Design Document (SDD), and Software Requirements Specification (SRS)
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and usability testing
  • Set up and maintain automation frameworks for continuous testing and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies for SQA
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience 3–5 years as a QA Engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, and JUnit
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
  • Experience with API testing using Postman or RestAssured
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
  • Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerized applications such as Docker or Kubernetes
