Job Description:

Data engineers play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining the complex infrastructure that underpins modern data-driven organizations. As an expert in Azure technologies, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable data processing solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other relevant tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines that integrate with various cloud-based services.
  • Develop real-time and close-to-real-time data integrations using Apache Kafka, Microsoft Event Hubs, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop business intelligence dashboards and data models using Power BI, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Provide expert-level support for data engineering activities, including troubleshooting, optimization, and scalability improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud-based data engineering technologies and apply this knowledge to improve existing processes and implement new innovations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in designing and implementing data pipelines, developing real-time data integrations, and creating business intelligence dashboards.
  • Extensive knowledge of Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide creative solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
