Golf Content Editor

We are seeking a skilled Golf Content Editor to join our editorial team at EssentiallySports. As a Golf Content Editor, you will be responsible for verifying the legitimacy of statistical data and facts, proofreading, and enhancing the quality of content before it goes live on our website.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a good grasp of the fundamentals of the English language and are accustomed to American culture. If you are an avid Golf enthusiast or keenly interested in picking up nuances of the sport, this role may be perfect for you.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing. Prior experience of leading a team of writers would be an additional plus.
Responsibilities- Actively edit and publish 20-25 articles daily.
- Proofread articles to ensure no avoidable errors - grammatical or otherwise - remain and check plagiarism in the articles before they're published.
- Research to ensure veracity of facts as well as identify incorrect claims and eliminate them immediately.
- Publish articles in a timely fashion for priority news-based articles.
- Mentor and guide an allocated set of writers to refine and boost their quality, output, and overall performance.
- Ensure smooth daily operations of writers in the Golf division.
- A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing.
- Prior experience of leading a team of writers would be an additional plus.
- Completely remote working space.
- Flexible working hours.
$60,000 - $80,000 per year.
