Job Title: Senior Data Architect Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading data architecture initiatives and driving business outcomes through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of senior engineers in designing and implementing data architectures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop data solutions
  • Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
  • Implement data governance and compliance frameworks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development and data structures/algorithms
  • 4+ years leading a team
  • 8+ years hands-on experience with Python, JVM, and Shell Scripting
  • 5+ years building cloud-native data-intensive applications on AWS/GCP
  • Experience with data warehouse design and development
  • Proficient in architecting and implementing workflow management systems (Airflow)
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Hands-on experience with Spark applications
  • Fundamental understanding of Parquet, Delta Lake, and other OTFs file formats
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform/CDK/CloudFormation)
  • Experience with observability systems (Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana)
  • Strong experience in building CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions/ArgoCD/Jenkins)
  • Unit testing and test automation frameworks
