Marine Design Specialist

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to build a career in marine structural design. This role provides hands-on training and direct involvement in the design, drafting, and analysis of marine structures, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing design calculations, drawings, and specifications for marine structures.
- Support senior engineers in structural analysis and prepare CAD drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives, deadlines, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
- Basic knowledge of structural design principles and marine standards is advantageous.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting). Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.

- Analytical thinking with the ability to solve design-related problems.
