Junior Interior Designer Position

We are seeking a skilled Junior Interior Designer to join our team. As a Junior Interior Designer at Studio Soma, you will be involved in the creative and execution aspects of projects.

Your responsibilities will include preparing drawings and 3D visuals using AutoCAD or equivalent software, coordinating on-site work, assisting in client meetings, and handling material selections.

Key skills and qualifications for this role include proficiency in design software, ability to multitask, previous experience in a similar role, self-motivation, organization, eagerness to learn, and good communication and coordination skills.

  • Prepare detailed drawings and 3D visuals to communicate project plans to clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project data and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior designers to develop and implement design concepts.

This is a full-time position located in Malad East, Mumbai. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters creativity and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create visualizations to help clients envision their space.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to showcase designs.
  • Assist in selecting materials and finishes that meet project requirements.
  • Support senior designers with design development and implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, V-Ray).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Previous experience in interior design or a related field.
  • Self-motivated and organized individual who can work independently.
