Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Professional to design, implement and maintain robust security measures protecting systems, networks and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive security strategies to protect IT infrastructure, applications and sensitive data.
  • Monitor networks and systems for potential security breaches, anomalies and threats in real-time.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain incident response plans, lead response to security incidents and ensure business continuity.
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies to minimize potential threats.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), virtual private networks (VPNs) and other security tools to safeguard against cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into software development lifecycle practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong understanding of network, application and cloud security concepts.
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, IDS/IPS, firewalls and vulnerability scanners.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash and PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with tools like Splunk, Tenable and Wireshark.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS and ISO 27001.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Experience with cloud security on AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Experience in Secure Software Development Lifecycle practices.
  • Knowledge of container security Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management IAM and Zero Trust Architecture.
