Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled data governance professional to play a pivotal role in establishing and overseeing a federated governance model across business domains.

Data Governance Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain responsibilities for data documentation, quality, security, and ownership.
  • Foster a culture of data sharing and informed decision-making through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Govern and monitor data strategies to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
Data Platform Responsibilities
  • Design and execute strategy for data collection, storage, and sharing to optimize data-driven business outcomes.
  • Represent the team in cross-unit engineering/data community discussions to drive strategic partnerships.
Data Acquisition & Monetization Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and steer new data-driven business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

This is an individual contributor role that requires collaboration with product managers, data engineers, and analytics experts to influence strategic decisions across functions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in IT/Data Science/Engineering or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data management, governance, or related fields within complex or international environments.
  • Expertise in Data Governance tools (Collibra preferred), Data Catalog, Big Data, Cloud technologies, ML/AI.
  • A strong background in data management & product lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile framework.

Nice to have: travel industry domain experience.
