Job Overview:

A highly skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineer with a good understanding of various electronics/electrical components is required to assist in the delivery of efficient engineering support and solutions.

We are seeking a talented engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions, while contributing to the development of the semiconductor ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Work on obsolescence activities with replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with documentation
  • End-to-end ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that develop into detailed drawings for manufacturing
  • Participate in design reviews to present designs throughout different phases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics with 3-5 years of experience
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work comfortably in US-based timings

Mandatory Skills:

  • Understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect
  • Select and recommend components based on application and circuit requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Critical/system-level thinking
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to part lifecycle management, change orders using PLM systems
  • Experience in electronic components obsolescence
  • Understanding of PCB and components
  • Hands-on experience with testing electronics components
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
