Cloud Operations Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based systems.

  • Provide 24/7 support for applications and related cloud environments across multiple geographies.
  • Ensure that all infrastructure issues are promptly identified and resolved, with proper security controls and best practices in place.
  • Focus on optimizing environment performance using product maturity models.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-tier colleagues.
  • Deploy and manage Azure environment resources efficiently.
  • Perform regular maintenance activities and ensure that releases are thoroughly planned, developed, validated, and deployed to testing and production environments.
  • Maintain accurate backups of environments and applications.
  • Participate in annual disaster recovery tests and adhere to all audit controls during SOC/ISO audits.
  • Be prepared to provide on-call support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cloud Operations Engineer.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services in product operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Microsoft IIS, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Understanding of network administration (VLANs, ACLs, VPN, routing) and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, release management, and enterprise EDR systems.
  • Experience managing single-tenant and multi-tenant SaaS applications is an asset.
  • Background working with Oracle databases and connections is also preferred.
  • Relevant Cloud or DevOps certifications are highly valued.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
