Key Role: Strategic Design Leader

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Architect to join our team. As a Strategic Design Leader, you will play a key role in the coordination of concept design teams and the refinement of selected design options.

This is a challenging role that requires strong experience in developing architectural designs for large and complex projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure design value engineering and guide project managers through the review and validation of design deliverables.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for implementing quality control policies and procedures on design deliverables, as well as supporting project managers in managing project budgets, resource allocation, and schedules.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and 10+ years of industry experience. A Master's Degree in Architecture or related field is highly desirable, as is in-depth knowledge in architectural design and understanding of international engineering standards and codes.

You will also need to have strong experience in software packages such as Revit Architecture, BIM 360, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

  • Job Summary: To coordinate with concept design teams for high-complexity projects
  • Key Responsibilities: Guide refinement of selected design options into schematic and draft final designs, work closely with stakeholders for design value engineering, work with Project Managers for review and validation of design deliverables, support Quantity Surveying Department for development of tender documents, review design deliverables and issue checking reports, assist Project Managers in managing project budgets, resource allocation, and schedules, implement quality control policies and procedures on design deliverables
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Master's Degree in Architecture or related field (preferred), 10+ years of industry experience in architectural design function, strong experience in developing architectural designs for large and complex projects, in-depth knowledge in architectural design field, understanding of international engineering standards and codes
