The role of an Aerodome Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Operations Manager involves overseeing the provision of emergency services at airports, including fire safety protocols, response procedures, and leadership responsibilities.

  • Lead a team of Crash Fire Tender (CFT) specialists to ensure round-the-clock readiness for emergency response
  • Develop and implement operational procedures in compliance with local and international aviation safety standards
  • Conduct regular training and drills for the CFT team to maintain peak performance and readiness
  • Coordinate with airport authorities and emergency services for seamless response and mutual aid
  • Maintain the readiness of ARFF vehicles, equipment, and firefighting systems
  • Analyze incident reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to ARFF services
Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Aviation Management, or a related field
  • Advanced certifications in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF)
Certification Requirements
  • Valid ARFF certification from a recognized aviation authority
  • Valid certification in Fire Safety and Prevention
Experience
  • 10-15 years of experience in the airports industry
  • Demonstrated experience in ARFF services
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management
