Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Observability Expert who will lead the design and implementation of monitoring solutions across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom integrations and automations using LogicMonitor’s REST APIs to streamline system reliability and intelligence-driven alerting.
  • Design scalable monitoring workflows that support multi-cloud and on-prem systems, ensuring seamless integration with platform and operations teams.
  • Build and maintain LogicModules, dashboards, escalation chains, and reporting logic to provide real-time insights into system performance.
  • Automate monitoring deployments and policy configurations across client environments to optimize system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish design standards for observability integration and mentor junior team members in best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in monitoring engineering, with 3+ years focused on LogicMonitor, and a strong understanding of API-based integration and automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and JSON/XML-based API design to develop efficient monitoring solutions.
  • Proven success in automating large-scale monitoring environments and expertise in hybrid cloud observability.
  • Experience with ITSM/CMDB tools and a strong understanding of service reliability practices.
