Lead QA Engineer - Test Strategy & Automation

As a seasoned Quality Assurance professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's testing strategy and driving automation initiatives. With 9–12 years of experience in Functional and Automation Testing, you will ensure high-quality delivery in Agile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for manual and automated testing.
  • Drive the adoption of Selenium with Java for test automation and enhance our test frameworks.
  • Oversee API testing for integration and end-to-end validations using Postman or RestAssured.
  • Validate data accuracy through SQL-based back-end testing.
  • Leverage Python scripting for test data management, masking, and automation utilities.
  • Maintain best practices and ensure the integration of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git).
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to track/report quality metrics and communicate risks to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Expertise in Selenium with Java for test automation.
  • Strong proficiency in API testing with Postman or RestAssured.
  • Advanced SQL skills for data validation and back-end testing.
  • Hands-on Python scripting for automation and test data handling.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) and Agile methodology.
