Software Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of software products. This includes understanding product requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to prevent defects in production.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software testing / quality assurance with basic programming concepts. You will be working on a team to test a range of applications from high-stakes engineering software solutions to control and monitor high-end control systems.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including web-based applications, mobile applications, and client-server applications.

You will be able to participate in all aspects of the SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation).

Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to the development of new test frameworks and applications, ensuring the implementation of manual and automated test solutions.

13. Troubleshooting mindset, an ability to break down a system or process systematically and effectively into subparts to identify failure mechanisms.">
14. Ensure proper analysis and documentation of test results.">
15. Actively participate in team retrospectives to recommend and implement improvements to test strategy and planning.">
16. Possess excellent time management and prioritization skills.">
17. Ensure all testing deliverables are of high quality and compliant.">
18. Experience in bug management tools like JIRA.">
19. Perform in-depth regression testing when bugs are resolved.">
20. Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new test and automation techniques, and better assist other team members.">

Technical Expertise:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working directly within engineering teams developing software delivering full systems.">
• 5+ years of proven work experience in software testing / quality assurance with web-based applications, mobile applications, and client-server applications.">
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.">
• Hands-on experience in manual API testing.">
• Experience in automation testing using Selenium or similar frameworks.">
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.">
• Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills.">
• Knowledge of Design Patterns & Data Structures.">

Objective/Purpose:

Be able to manage and work on a project-by-project basis for product/solution testing and work in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.

Monitors every phase of the software development process to ensure quality and keep abreast with the latest industry trends in testing tools and automations.

Must have knowledge in all the testing stages of software development and deployment.
