Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure high product quality, identify issues, and improve user experience.

  • Perform functional, UI, regression, and integration testing on web applications.
  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test reports.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs, coordinating with developers for timely resolutions.
  • Validate features against acceptance criteria before deployment.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies like stand-ups and sprint planning.
  • Maintain QA documentation and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills:

  • React & TypeScript fundamentals and practical exposure.
  • REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • React Testing Library & Jest for UI and unit testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with QA methodologies, STLC, and bug lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of test case management/defect tracking tools e.g. Jira, Asana.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Redux Toolkit, React Router, and component libraries like Material UI MUI.
  • Basic experience with automation testing Selenium, Playwright.
  • Familiarity with Git and Agile Scrum practices.
