Securing digital identities and data is a critical component of modern cybersecurity. As a PKI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure Public Key Infrastructure solutions.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in cryptography, certificate management, and cybersecurity protocols. If you have experience with cryptographic standards such as PKCS, X.509, PKIX, and ETSI, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain Certificate Authorities (CAs) and related components using Microsoft Certificate Services.
  • Your hands-on experience with SSL/TLS, S/MIME, EFS, 802.1X, smart card authentication, and code signing will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of certificate-enabled applications.
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, secure hashing algorithms, and digital signatures, will enable you to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Familiarity with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), SSL offloading techniques, key recovery mechanisms, and EFS recovery processes will also be beneficial.
  • You will work on managing Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs), including renewal and publishing to CDP locations such as HTTP and LDAP.
  • Assisting in the design, deployment, and upgrade of PKI infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and compliance with security policies will be another key responsibility.

Required Skills:
  • Cryptography: Deep understanding of cryptographic principles, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, secure hashing algorithms, and digital signatures.
  • Public Key Infrastructure: Experience with cryptographic standards such as PKCS, X.509, PKIX, and ETSI, as well as certificate management and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Certificate Management: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Certificate Services, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of Certificate Authorities (CAs) and related components.
  • Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Networking: Familiarity with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
  • Security: Understanding of security best practices, including access control, auditing, and incident response.
