Job Opportunity: Internship in Web Development

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an intern. This is a remote, unpaid internship role where you will assist in both front-end and back-end web development tasks.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with web technologies and work in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for designing and developing responsive web designs, implementing web development projects, and supporting the team in achieving overall project goals.

You will have the opportunity to work on live client projects, receive mentorship & skill-building opportunities, and potentially work on future paid projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in front-end and back-end web development tasks
  • Design and develop responsive web designs
  • Implement web development projects
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress (core, themes, plugins, hooks, filters, REST API)
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Familiarity with MySQL database management
  • Experience in payment gateway integration and SMTP configuration
  • Understanding of API integrations and webhooks
  • Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Basic understanding of SEO optimization and website security best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of WooCommerce and e-commerce setups
  • Familiarity with cPanel, domain management, and DNS configurations
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Understanding of basic hosting and server management
