Job Overview

You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and innovation as a Data Engineering Leader. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the nuances of each market and become a principal domain specialist.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop a deep understanding of digital trading platforms and other systems, optimizing them for business needs. You will also gain a thorough understanding of digital placement data and its interaction with the larger data ecosystem.

Using your expertise in Business Consultant skills, you will solve business pain points using data and technology. This includes leveraging data and domain expertise to conceptualize and deliver on ambiguous projects with specific revenue potential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market dynamics and trends.
  • Optimize data pipelines to perform complex data transformations and improve data visualization.
  • Build consolidated views using disparate data sources and placement data to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions to address them.
  • Lead a team of analysts, providing coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to enhance their domain knowledge and business understanding.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Engineering discipline.
  • 10-12 years of experience in BI and reporting, with a focus on Enterprise wide reporting systems and dashboard development.
  • 2-3 years of Team Management experience handling a minimum team size of 2-3 analysts.
  • Problem-solving skills within the constraints of a corporate IT environment.
  • Ability to think independently and define KPIs that align with business strategy and goals.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Data Engineering and Data transformation skills - SQL or Oracle.
  • Data Visualization - Power BI is a must-have, Tableau or Qlik would be beneficial.
  • Exposure and familiarity with cloud platforms like Databricks on Azure and AWS.
