Gastrointestinal Disease Specialist
Description:We are seeking a full-time gastroenterologist to join our medical team in Kolkata.
The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic disorders.
- Conduct diagnostic endoscopy procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and capsule endoscopy.
- Manage hepatology cases including viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver failure.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and emergency gastroenterology services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient management.
- Participate in academic training programs, CMEs, and clinical quality improvement initiatives.
- DM (Gastroenterology) degree from a recognized institute.
- Strong expertise in gastroenterology and hepatology.
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting endoscopic procedures.
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to work in a collaborative hospital environment.
- Prior experience in a tertiary care hospital is preferred but not mandatory.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal diseases.
- Managing complex cases involving the liver, bile ducts, and pancreas.
- Providing emergency services during off-hours.
