Role Overview

The Human Resource Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for Bastian Hospitality's luxury restaurant and hospitality operations. This role demands a proactive recruiter who understands the nuances of hiring for a luxury service environment, selecting candidates who embody the brand's values of excellence, professionalism, and exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition & Sourcing: Develop and implement recruitment strategies that attract talent suited to the luxury hospitality industry, with a focus on service excellence and professionalism.
• Source high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, industry networks, and targeted outreach.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline of hospitality professionals who align with Bastian Hospitality's values and luxury standards.
• Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for luxury hospitality.
• Coordinate and conduct in-depth interviews, utilizing behavioral and situational questions tailored to the demands of high-end service roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to refine interview processes, ensuring that all candidates meet the brand's high standards of customer service and professional presentation.
• Candidate Experience Management: Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, reflecting the brand's luxury positioning.
• Keep candidates engaged and informed at each stage of the hiring process, providing timely feedback and communication.
• Facilitate seamless transitions for candidates from offer acceptance to onboarding, collaborating with the HR team to support a strong start for each new hire.
• Collaborative Hiring Support: Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop recruitment plans that meet business needs.
• Offer insights and recommendations on job descriptions, interview techniques, and candidate selection based on industry best practices.
• Provide training and guidance to managers on effective interview techniques and assessment methods.
• Employer Branding & Networking: Assist in promoting Bastian Hospitality as a top luxury employer by attending industry events, hospitality career fairs, and networking opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and share content that highlights the brand's culture and opportunities on social media and job boards.
• Develop relationships with hospitality schools and training institutions to establish pipelines for future talent.
• Data Management & Reporting: Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and progress within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Use recruitment data and analytics to make informed hiring decisions and adjust sourcing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in recruitment, ideally within luxury hospitality, fine dining, or a high-end service industry.
• Proven track record of sourcing and hiring candidates who meet luxury hospitality standards.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media recruiting, and other sourcing tools.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality industry roles, requirements, and skills.
