Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Tax Supervisor.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare complex tax returns for Hedge Funds and/or FoF partnerships.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews and analyses of tax returns.
  • Document and summarize research on specific tax issues.
  • Develop, motivate, and train staff members.
  • Interact with clients to address questions and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in business taxation, preferably with a Big 4 firm or large accounting firm.
  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam or EA certification.
  • Prior tax compliance and consulting experience serving Asset Management clients.
  • Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance.
  • Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or collect necessary information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters of Accounting, Masters of Taxation, or MBA.
  • Active CPA or EA certification.
  • Proven track record managing client engagements from start-to-end.
