About the Role:

  • We seek a seasoned SCADA engineer to spearhead our industrial digital transformation initiatives.
  • You will design configure and deploy advanced data acquisition visualization and reporting solutions across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture implementation of real-time data capture display and analysis systems.
  • Ensure seamless integration of operational technology OT systems with enterprise IT systems databases cloud platforms.
  • Develop maintain secure efficient data exchange using standardized protocols REST APIs MQTT OPC UA.
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production business objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership in Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing predictive analytics projects.
  • Troubleshoot optimize and support existing SCADA deployments to minimize downtime.
  • Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in SCADA engineering within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA Inductive Automation including scripting module configuration project deployment.
  • Strong background in Manufacturing Execution Systems MES functions production tracking OEE downtime analysis traceability SPC etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with OTIT integration technologies.
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity.
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging lightweight communication.
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems PLC HMIs plant floor connectivity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards ISA95 ISA88 ISA99 IEC 62443.
  • Excellent problem-solving communication collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms Azure IoT AWS IoT etc.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization Docker Kubernetes for SCADA deployments.
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation Industry 4.0 projects.
  • Certifications Ignition Gold Certified Specialist OPC UA or relevant industrial ITOT certifications.
