Enterprise Software Specialist Position

We are seeking a talented Enterprise Software Specialist to join our team.

This role involves providing comprehensive product support, coordinating problem-solving efforts, and communicating regularly with customers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of enterprise software systems and experience in resolving complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical support via phone, email, or online conference.
  • Analyze data, run tests to identify root causes, and collect relevant information by interviewing contacts.
  • Document all activities related to resolving reported issues within the case management system.
  • Determine, recommend, and execute appropriate actions for resolution, which may require input from development.
  • Collaborate with team members to facilitate knowledge transfer and accelerate product expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise software, including engineering, consulting, or presales.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
    • ERP application experience in at least one of the following: CONTROL, SAP, ORACLE, Microsoft Dynamics AX, or similar.
      • Financial application experience (preferred but not required) with systems such as Unit4 CODA, Sage Financials, Cost Point, or similar.
        • Hands-on experience with the following:
  1. Programming languages: C#, .net, Visual Studio, PL/SQL, COBOL, JAVA, XML, JavaScript.
  2. Databases: SQL Server, Oracle.
  3. Scripting languages: ActivePerl, PowerShell, Windows Batch Scripting, GNU freeware sort utility.
  4. Debugging tools: Microsoft debugging tools for web applications.
  • Experience with: Windows Server, Team Foundation Servers or Azure Dev Ops.
    • Experience with compiling, linking, testing, deploying applications, and application fixes.
      • Certification on any of the Microsoft technologies (preferred but not required).
        • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a focus on remote technical exchanges.
