Manufacturing Engineer Job Description

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating engineering drawings for manufacturability, accuracy, and completeness as per the latest engineering standards. You will also apply knowledge of medical device regulations to execute gap assessments, manufacturing print reviews, and remediation activities.

This role requires strong expertise in Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFM&A) principles and manufacturing methods for plastics, metals, and packaging components & Systems. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in analyzing project feasibility for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and validate engineering drawings
  • Apply knowledge of medical device regulations
  • Execute gap assessments and remediation activities
  • Participate in ideation activities to assess project scoping and viability
  • Conduct tolerance stack-up studies and dimensional variation analysis
  • Apply project management skills to plan, schedule, and monitor project activities efficiently
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical/production engineering
  • Experience: Min 9–12 years of relevant experience
  • Skills: Strong expertise in DFM&A principles, manufacturing methods, and project management methodologies
