Job Overview

As a skilled Marine Engineer, you will be responsible for leading design engineering activities for assigned projects in offshore plants, drilling rigs, and other vessels. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design engineering activities for assigned projects, including activity planning, scheduling, and resource optimization.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on business goals and meeting deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of PFDs, P&IDs, project specifications, design calculations, and procurement specifications for marine systems.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to support utility design and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective project management plans, coordinating with stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in marine/offshore construction, conversion, and repairs, with a strong understanding of relevant safety and occupational health standards.
  • Expertise in piping detailed engineering, pressure vessel design, and auxiliary equipment capacities, with knowledge of ASME codes and classification rules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills an advantage.
