Job Title: Data Modeler

Greetings from a leading technology solutions provider. We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled data modeler to join our team.

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced data modeler who has expertise in designing and implementing database structures for reference data.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial reference and/or market reference data, as well as experience with UML and ERD for logical data models.
Required Skills:
  • Good understanding of financial reference and/or market reference data.
  • Expertise in data modelling skills and working knowledge of the difference between conceptual, logical and physical models.
  • In-depth knowledge of database structures for reference data as well as methods of working for sourcing and capturing this data.
  • Understanding of RDBMS's and proficiency with SQL.
  • Experience with Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect or other visual data modelling tools desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of JSON and/or XML essential.
Benefits:
  • Full project lifecycle implementation experience including familiarity of agile projects.
  • At least 5 years of data modelling experience, preferably within the financial services industry working on large scale data migration programs.
