Job Overview

Network Engineers are highly skilled professionals responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer networks.

  • They ensure network security by detecting and responding to incidents proactively and escalating issues effectively.
  • Regular reports on network performance provide actionable insights for optimization, including bandwidth utilization, latency, uptime, and availability metrics.
SD WAN Responsibilities:
  • Manage private links ensuring high-performance WAN links that connect remote sites with redundancy and failover solutions.
  • Optimize SD-WAN solutions for dynamic routing and bandwidth management across regions.
  • Minimize jitter, latency, and packet loss to ensure optimal user experience for global collaboration tools.
Branch Network WAN Roles:
  • Ensure WAN links connecting all branches provide redundancy and high availability for office locations and retail outlets.
  • Maintain stable and secure network connections for all branch offices and locations with real-time monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Perform L2 network troubleshooting, capacity trend/problem identification, patching, and configuration management.
LAN/Wi-Fi Expertise:
  • Full lifecycle management of LAN, including switch configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage Wi-Fi networks ensuring coverage, security, and performance for both office and remote locations.
  • Provide secure, segregated guest Wi-Fi access with appropriate bandwidth controls.
Audit Participation and Documentation:
  • Participate in audits requested by customers, filling in required forms and collecting relevant data.
  • Submit audit materials timely and accurately as per customer requirements.
  • Complete audit questionnaires and related documents as needed, ensuring thoroughness and compliance.
