Job Description

The QA Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of software delivery across diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans for application interfaces and operations to guarantee seamless deployment.
  • Maintain code quality metrics and monitor compliance with established standards using Sonar Cloud.
  • Track defects from QA findings to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct release readiness reviews and validate quality criteria prior to deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Vulnerability & Security:

  • Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools such as Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio to mitigate security risks.
  • Support audit readiness and escalate unresolved blockers to ensure continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Participate in weekly QA reviews and collaborate with Dev Leads, Ops, and Service teams to foster effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for QA-related issues to ensure timely resolution.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain and update system documentation and QA procedures to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Prepare weekly status reports detailing progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection to keep stakeholders informed.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth operation and integration of QA processes within DevSecOps to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support release and deployment coordination for enhancements and integrations to ensure seamless transition.
  • Provide training and support to team members on QA tools and processes to promote knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards to maintain a culture of excellence.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking to demonstrate expertise.
  • Knowledge of static code analysis, and vulnerability scanning (e.g. Sonar Cloud) to ensure secure coding practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
