Service Engineering Specialist Job Description

This role is crucial to the efficient operation of our Service Engineering Teams. You will be responsible for supporting technical experts in solving complex problems, with a focus on mechanical engineering.

You will be working in a globally responsible team of technical experts, serving as a focal point of contact for technical issues between local business units and central business units.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assigning tasks along the technical support process.
  • Collecting information about mechanical component performance.
  • Identifying and reporting potential serial issues.
  • Evaluating risk potential.

In addition, you will also support local business units in developing sustainable solutions for mechanical problems related to wind turbine drive trains, using distinctive technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-8 years' experience in mechanical drive trains and roller bearings, preferably from the wind industry.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in Teamcenter PLM, Windchill PLM, SAP, and troubleshooting.
