Job Description:

The Comprehensive Charging Management System for electric vehicle infrastructure & ecosystem is a crucial project that requires expertise in backend technologies. The role of Backend Developer involves designing and implementing robust server-side applications to handle complex charging operations, payment processing, and integration with various hardware systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop scalable architecture for the Comprehensive Charging Management System.
  2. Implement RESTful APIs and message queues for system component communication.
  3. Create and optimize database schemas for storing charging session data, user information, and payment records.
  4. Develop integration interfaces with EV charging hardware protocols (OCPP, OCPI etc.).
  5. Implement real-time monitoring and control mechanisms for charging stations.
  6. Design and develop payment processing systems with secure transaction handling.
  7. Create authentication and authorization systems for user and operator access control.
  8. Develop reporting and analytics features for charging data.
  9. Implement automated testing frameworks and continuous integration pipelines.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve backend performance issues and bugs.
  11. Collaborate with frontend and hardware teams for seamless system operation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in backend development languages like Node.js/Nest.js.
  • Expertise in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of message brokers and queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with EV charging protocols like OCPP and related protocols.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of IoT communication protocols (MQTT, WebSockets).
  • Knowledge of payment gateway integrations and security standards (PCI DSS).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in automated testing (unit, integration, and load testing).
