Azure Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure hybrid cloud environment on Azure. This includes setting up and configuring core infrastructure components such as virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, and routing configurations.

  • Develop detailed design documents and architectural diagrams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Create structured subscription models that align with business units, environments, and cost centers.
  • Use management groups to efficiently manage access, policies, and compliance across multiple subscriptions.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the current infrastructure and recommend cloud migration strategies.

This role involves ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity for Azure solutions, designing and implementing security best practices for Azure environments, and working closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate Azure solutions.

  • Manage and maintain the Azure Active Directory environment, including creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts, groups, and roles.
  • Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, including role-based access control (RBAC) and conditional access policies to enforce the principle of least privilege.

In addition, this role involves designing and implementing secure architectures for Azure cloud solutions, including network, application, and data security.

  • Establish security policies, standards, and procedures for Azure environments.
  • Design and implement Azure network solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in cloud infrastructure management and possess excellent communication skills, team leadership abilities, and knowledge of project management documentation artifacts for SDLC and change management.
