We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development of pharmacovigilance signal detection solutions based on our flagship Qinecsa Vigilance Workbench signal detection platform.The ideal candidate will have a background in statistical programming and healthcare related datasets, and be proficient in Python, JSON, PL/SQL, and SQL. This role requires deep technical expertise, a strong desire to learn about our products and a passion for advancing drug safety technologies.Develop robust data pipelines and advanced configurations using python, JSON, SQL to implement clients' signal detection strategies using increased frequency and disproportionality algorithms.Document technical designs and specifications.Design and execute effective unit tests.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client business and regulatory requirements.Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of signalling data pipelines.Where necessary, support client facing design teams to ensure feasibility and effectiveness of desired solutions, communicating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative team and world-class clients.The successful candidate will have:A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, informatics or a related field.Experience in statistical programming and data analysis.Expertise in python, json, pl/sql, sql.Experience with bitbucket and jira (or similar) for software development.Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and big data technologies.Prior experience with signal detection in the context of pharmacovigilance would be advantageous.In return, you can expect:A competitive salary on a fixed-term contract basis, with the possibility of extending to a full-time position.Opportunities for professional development and growth.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.
