The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and strategic skills to drive business growth, manage risk, and ensure operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Business Strategy: Anticipate opportunities and challenges in the local market, share insights with stakeholders, and participate in strategic initiatives.Safety & Risk Management: Develop and sustain systems for managing process safety, transportation safety, contractor safety, and behavioral safety.Operational Management: Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), achieve plant efficiency and product quality through technology upgradation, and develop metrics towards compliance, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), sustainability, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain interaction with regulatory bodies, local administration, and public figures, and determine how to optimize product mix.Functional Review and Collaboration: Set clear expectations, drive cross-functional collaboration, collaborate with central functions, and develop unit management for emergencies.Financial and Cost Management: Identify benchmarks and means of cost optimization, prioritize budget and capital expenditure requirements, and drive cost competitiveness.Compliance and Corporate Governance: Develop healthy engagement, identify and develop key skills and competencies, provide career development opportunities, and drive knowledge absorption and training.
