Operations Excellence LeaderThe role of Operations Excellence Leader encompasses strategic and operational leadership to drive world-class production in a manufacturing plant. Key responsibilities include leading all plant operations, ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing with optimized machine efficiency, and maintaining strict adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly production KPIs.Better Quality Assurance & Compliance:Ensure compliance with ISO standards, ASTM and industry-specific norms.Maintain product consistency and quality levels required for domestic and export markets.Drive reduction of production defects and customer complaints.A Safer Environment:Enforce compliance with national environmental laws and global EHS standards.Implement effective hazard control and waste management practices.Promote a safety-first culture across plant operations.Cross Functional Leadership:Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams.Drive performance-driven culture with clear goals and continuous training.Ensure effective manpower planning and retention.Engineering & Maintenance:Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for plant equipment.Manage plant upgrades and new line installations.Ensure optimal uptime of extruders, feeders, and packaging systems.Supply Chain & Inventory Management:Oversee procurement, vendor management, and inbound raw materials.Ensure cost-effective sourcing and timely availability of materials.Optimize inventory levels to reduce working capital.Cost & Budget Management:Drive cost optimization initiatives across energy, manpower, and logistics.Prepare and monitor annual plant budgets.Ensure achievement of plant profitability targets.Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement:Lead continuous improvement programs (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).Support new product development and trials.Drive automation and process modernization initiatives.
