POSITION SUMMARY


The PR & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive public relations and communication strategies to enhance the organization’s brand, reputation, and visibility. This role requires excellent storytelling, media relations, and strategic communication skills to manage the company’s external and internal messaging, and to build relationships with key stakeholders, including the media, industry influencers, and internal teams. The PR & Communications Manager will oversee press releases, media outreach, events, social media, crisis communication, and brand messaging to ensure consistent and positive representation of the organization.


PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Public Relations Strategy:

o Develop and implement a PR strategy aligned with the company’s business goals, ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels.

o Work closely with senior leadership to craft key messages for the company, its products, and its services.

o Create and manage media plans, ensuring the company is featured in relevant outlets and industry publications.

2. Media Relations & Outreach:

o Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers to promote positive media coverage.

o Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.

o Manage media inquiries, interview requests, and develop responses to ensure positive brand perception.

o Coordinate press conferences, media interviews, and other media-related events.

3. Internal Communications:

o Collaborate with HR, leadership, and other departments to ensure internal communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with company goals.

o Oversee the creation of internal newsletters, employee announcements, and updates on company news and achievements.
