Impact StatementGlobal Credit Finance (GCF) Loan Operations provides operational support for several GCF products within Finance.Loan Servicing Unit (LSU) Associate is needed to service credit facilities on the Bank's loan accounting system(s), process related cash transfers and perform reconcilements/exception report reviews.Primary ResponsibilitiesClosely monitor the team on day to day basis to ensure all SLA's are met and any exceptions are immediately escalated for resolution. Supervise a process which performs Deal Closing, processing Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Funding, Rate-Fixings, Fees and external payments, collection of interest, Nostro & Past Due Reconciliation.Initiate cash movements via internal transfer and Fed wire/SWIFTReconcile general ledger/demand deposit accounts; document discrepancies timelyAnalyzing and researching items for resolutionProcessing transactions or resolving exceptionsHandles Letters of Credit maintenanceManage Interest and fee logsHandling client queries on Life cycle eventProvide client support and trainingDrive 100% compliance to Process related Policies, Guidelines and ControlsBe the SME - Handle complex Process related queries and clarifications from the Team members and route these to onshore teams for resolution if required.Should have an eye for detail to ensure all documents are processed and reviewed correctly.Implement a robust Knowledge Management model including maintenance of SOPs, process/policy change management, training of new joiners and ongoing training of existing Team.Ensure timely escalation to the management as and when requiredMotivate and support the Team Members to meet their Goals and Objectives. Self-motivated and flexible with working hoursIdentify and drive Process improvements and other initiativesIdentifying alternatives, options and different ways of looking at issues/problems and to seek alternative scenario'sAbility to identify changes to processes and procedures to improve productivity and efficiencyBack up/Team depth: Ensure backups/ team depth is on the high side with production backups identified & trained on critical work queuesPerformance feedback: Ensure constructive performance feedback is passed on to the Team members layer each month with specific improvement areas documented & tracked to closure. Escalate where no improvement is noticedRequired Skills or CertificationsAround 10 years of experience in Loan Operations (Bilateral, Agented and Non Agented)General understanding of accountingProficiency with Microsoft ExcelGood organizational skills and the ability to prioritize under tight deadlinesPrior banking and/or lending knowledge beneficialSuccess CapabilitiesBachelor's degree or similarCandidates with knowledge of loan systems like loan IQ will hold an added advantageStrong interpersonal and communication skills necessaryMust be detail oriented with ability to perform general analysis of credit documentationAbility to work with others to accomplish tasksStrong focus on the customer experienceAble to build strong, open & collaborative working relationshipsShould be comfortable with Bangalore locationShould be open with all shifts (Including Night Shifts)
