Lead Security Strategist for Artificial IntelligenceWe are seeking a highly skilled Lead Security Strategist to govern and establish best practices across our AI portfolios.Develop and Implement Security Strategy: Design, implement, and operationalize the organization's AI security strategy, governance model, and practices.Ensure Secure AI Product Lifecycle: Guarantee that security controls and compliance are in place throughout the AI solution lifecycle—from model development, data handling, deployment, and monitoring to production support.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Data, Digital, and Infrastructure Security teams to embed AI security within broader enterprise security frameworks.Establish Governance & Compliance: Define policies addressing the ethical, legal, and regulatory aspects of AI solutions, ensuring responsible AI deployment.Evaluate AI Risks & Insurance: Assess and establish AI insurance mechanisms to safeguard organizational interests against AI-related risks.Develop Security Best Practices: Create and socialize secure development and operational practices for AI and ML systems.Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor a small, high-performing horizontal team, influencing security posture across business units.Engage with Stakeholders: Partner with product and engineering leaders to proactively identify and mitigate AI-specific threats.The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of how AI solutions are built, from experimentation to production, and be able to lead a small, cross-functional team to operationalize AI security across business units.Proven experience in AI Security, Application/Product Security, or Cloud Security roles with exposure to AI/ML products in production.Strong understanding of AI product lifecycle, including data pipelines, model training, deployment, and inference operations.Deep knowledge of security principles, threat modeling, and compliance frameworks applicable to AI solutions (e.g., GDPR, ISO, NIST AI RMF).Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem is preferred.Understanding of infrastructure security and ability to collaborate effectively with infrastructure and DevOps teams.Awareness of AI legality, ethics, and governance frameworks and their impact on enterprise AI deployment.Ability to drive cross-BU initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
