About usRisk and Data Analyst - InternWe are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Risk and Data Analyst Intern.Your Role:Deliver risk and/or analytic solutions in the financial services industry.Collaborate with stakeholders across product management, data science, and engineering to drive implementation of risk and data analytic strategies.Manage challenging time constraints and ensure on-time delivery of projects.Develop and generate management reports for portfolio monitoring.Analyze and identify key differentiating indicators for segmentation and driving effective risk mitigation and/or marketing strategies.Work closely with partner teams identifying, evaluating, and recommending new data that helps overall risk and marketing strategies.Analyze portfolio trends and simulate risk and marketing strategies.Collaborate with the data science team on model building and deployment.Build scorecards that leverage both internal performance data and external performance data.Perform analysis, develop strategies, and craft presentations to help articulate strategy for the leadership team.To be successful in this role you will have:A quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math, or economics or related disciplines.Knowledge of database query language (e.g. SQL) and developer tools such as Python, R, databricks in a finance or analytics field.Prior model building experience is a plus but not critical.An analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity.Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams.
