Job Description: Xebia is seeking a talented and experienced Java Backbase Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable Java applications integrated with the Backbase platform. You will work closely with our clients and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications integrated with the Backbase platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Java Developer, with strong proficiency in Java 8+.
  • Hands-on experience with Backbase platform (preferably CXP and DBS).
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Java or related technologies.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
