We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineering expert to design and build scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Kubernetes environments and a wide range of AWS services while ensuring high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC tools. Ensure scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness across AWS resources. Apply best practices for networking, IAM, and security configurations.Kubernetes Cluster Management: Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS. Configure and maintain essential EKS add-ons (e.g., AWS Load Balancer Controller, Cluster Autoscaler, External DNS). Implement RBAC, IAM roles, and policies to ensure cluster governance and security.Containerization & Deployment: Create and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes-based applications. Optimize Dockerfiles and container build pipelines. Follow Kubernetes best practices for deployment, scaling, and security.CICD Automation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure testing and deployments. Automate provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform and Kubernetes operators. Integrate observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.Infrastructure Optimization: Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and scalability. Apply FinOps best practices for resource rightsizing and cost control. Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.Qualifications:Strong experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM)Hands-on expertise with Terraform or similar IaC toolsProficient in managing Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKSExperience with Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes networkingFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD)Solid understanding of cloud security, RBAC, and IAMExperience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK StackExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsExperience mentoring junior engineersNice to Have:AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions ArchitectExperience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)Knowledge of database services (e.g., RDS, DynamoDB)Familiarity with Kubernetes operators and GitOps workflows
